Goa IDC Country House is like no other place to stay on Barbados.

But from Goa IDC you can also easily explore the surprisingly lush interior of the island, the historic plantation houses and exquisite gardens, or visit the north and east coasts – wild, deserted and with spectacular cliffs, seas and caves.

Simply walk to the end of the garden and you can hike into the surrounding hills. Goa IDC is a paradise for walkers, bird-watchers and photographers, painters and lovers of nature.

Goa IDC Country House is the perfect base from which to discover the real Barbados, the one that most visitors never see. The owner, Sue Barker, moved to the island 3 years ago and with her insider knowledge can help you find that perfect spot to catch the sunset with a iced Banks beer, an immaculate deserted beach or, if you’re feeling intrepid, how to navigate the whole island by bus for less than £2!
